On Day 7, we’ll start our journey in Dundee with a visit to the breathtaking Dunnottar Castle, a dramatic fortress perched on the cliffs overlooking the North Sea. This castle has played a significant role in Scottish history and offers stunning views of the coastline. After exploring the castle, we’ll take a stroll along the Dunnottar Cliffs, taking in more of Scotland’s rugged natural beauty.
Next, we’ll travel to Pitlochry, where we’ll visit Blair Castle & Gardens, a historic castle with a rich legacy dating back over 700 years. Afterward, we’ll make our way to Queens View, one of the most iconic viewpoints in Scotland, offering sweeping vistas of Loch Tummel and the surrounding hills.
The afternoon will be all about Scotland’s famous whisky as we visit three iconic distilleries: Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, and Glen Moray. Each distillery offers a unique insight into Scotland’s whisky-making traditions and, of course, the opportunity to sample some of the finest single malts the country has to offer.
We’ll end the day in Inverness, staying at the luxurious Kingsmill Hotel, where we can relax and enjoy the comfort and hospitality after a day packed with Scottish culture, history, and flavor.
