You might choose to visit the magnificent St. Gile’s Cathedral, or venture to Holyrood Palace & Abbey, a royal residence steeped in history (open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, tickets priced at €22.00).
For the more adventurous, a hike up Arthur’s Seat offers stunning panoramic views of the city. If you’re a fan of magic and literature, the Wizarding World of Edinburgh tour will take you down Victoria Street and into the world of Harry Potter.
